New Features for Microsoft Patch Data

We have added new features relating to our coverage of Microsoft patches and imported the legacy patch diary tables into our new system going back to 2006.

Hi Alex,

Great stuff, but it would be great if you could remove the header displaying "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below " from the XML format, otherwise it is not possible to process the data programatically, since the header comes in the way.

@Jaybone: I believe that Microsoft have started issuing some Office patches on the first Tuesday of the month; however, I think that they are non-security patches which are not usually reported by SANS.

@Alex: I may be wrong but I think that the message that you describe is displayed by the browser when showing an XML file that does not specify a stylesheet. Have you tried downloading the XML file? I think that you will find that it is valid XML and does not contain that message.

Interesting, for awhile my comment showed as anonymous... now it has my id.

@jaybone - Argh! I misread my wall calendar this month.

But to the other point, I did experience some updates that day and was looking for info.
