For those of you who would like to contribute to the future of Firefox, while not quite ready for final release, Firefox 4 Beta 12 is considered "stable and safe to use for daily browsing". There are still some known issues and the Mozilla people do warn that if you are a add-on user there may be some issues with your add-ons, but with the Add-on Compatability Reporter you can assist the add-on developers as well. -- Rick Wanner - rwanner at isc dot sans dot org - http://namedeplume.blogspot.com/ - Twitter:namedeplume (Protected) |

BETA NOT... to quote some who seem to know better:
- http://update.microsoft.com/microsoftupdate/v6/default.aspx?ln=en-us "...NOTE: Use beta software at your own risk; it is intended for testing and evaluation purposes only. Do not install beta software on your primary computer or production environment..." . |

Yes, great definition!! But, we all know already that we are not deploying Beta software on production systems. We don't need to be told this every time, specially if you read this diary very often.

FYI - In Firefox Beta 12 the printing capability is horribly broken. Don't use it if you need to print from your browser. Airport boarding passes tend to look like something Picasso would create.
