Adobe released a new version of the Shockwave Player for Windows and OSX yesterday. Multiple vulnerabiltiies are addressed, most of the vulnerabilities on the list result in compromise of the workstation and arbitrary code execution, so this is an important update to get done ASAP. You've probably seen Firefox automatically update its add-ons, but Shockwave, Flash and others are plugins, which seem, generally not to be automatically updated.
I'd never seen this page before, and was surprised how many out of date plugins I had: https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/ |
