Register.com DNS Issues
We have received serveral reports indicating that www.register.com is experience DNS issues. They posted on their site: "We are currently experiencing technical difficulties on our hosting platform. We are actively working to resolve these issues and restore service to normal as soon as possible. [1]"
Update: The Register.com just posted an update indicating that yesterday they were victim of a DDoS attack and have deployed mitigating resources to deal with it. If you are using webmail, they have made available alternative webmail access points in the following order: webmail01.register.com, webmail02.register.com, webmail03.register.com and that only one of these 3 webmail access points will work for your specific Register.com email address. [1]
