The next two lines are a command I used to capture trafic on port tcp/4044, and the network trafic captured. # nc -l -p 4044 CONNECT mail.omniweb.com:25 HTTP/1.0 Message captured by netcat listening on port 4044/tcp on 2003/06/06. Activity look like a spammer/hacker trying to connect to a smtp mail server while stepping thru a sort of HTTP web proxy running port 4044.
