Vulnerability Management and Cyber Analysis Specialist (TS/SCI)
Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Science
Minimum Experience: 4 years
Work Location: This is a full time position based in Reston, VA. This position does not have telecommuting options
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
The Vulnerability Management Specialist will provide cyber security alerts and bulletins to the IC CND community. They will track and report compliance to Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs) from the IC Elements. They will continually identify and implement measurable an proactive processes that secure Oss, applications, and HW Patch management.
A Bachelor's Degree in Science plus 4 years of industry experience preferred; or a High School Diploma plus 8 years experience, an Associate's Degree plus 6 years experience, a Master's Degree plus 2 years experience, or a PHD.
Strong overall understanding of cybersecurity vulnerabilities, ICVM, ICVA, and ICVB.
Understanding of the NIST National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and CVSS scoring.
Understanding and experience in identifying and patching software vulnerabilities.
Ability to quickly pull metrics and generate reports.
Familiarity with ACAS (or Tenable Nessus) and HBSS.
Ability to achieve a certification equal to or greater than DoD 8570 IAT-2. i.e [GCIH, GSEC] Outstanding candidates can be afforded 6 months to acquire this certification.
