Parsons is now hiring an experienced Cyber Security Technologist/Engineer with the desire to work on creating innovative, practical solutions to support cyber security and space projects. You will be responsible for the security and protection of key government systems.

We need our Cyber Security Technologist/Engineer to exhibit exceptional communication, analytical and organizational skills while being versatile and enthusiastic when working in a highly flexible team-oriented environment.
The responsibilities of the Cyber Security Technologist/Engineer position include the following:
Develops leading edge Cyber Security technology roadmap necessary to ensure system resiliency for customer mission systems.
Works with the Program Manager of cyber security project to manage and maintain the project’s Cyber Security responsibilities including contributing to efficient resource planning, improving department standards and processes, and researching Cyber Security solutions to support program objectives.
Interfaces with customers, managers, and other leads to gather requirements, recommend solutions, provide status, and manage issues/requests.
Implements Risk Management Framework (RMF) process on government systems.
Develops and implements information security procedures, system security plans, and POA&Ms for the operation of networked and standalone classified computers systems, as well as coordinating government agency approvals/accreditations.
Evaluates Authority to Operate packages.
Consults on the design, development, integration, and analysis of classified and CUI computing systems.
Identifies security vulnerabilities and needed security protection measures.
Ensures Systems Security Engineering Requirements that satisfy protection needs are implemented through the systems engineering process and tested through formal test events.
Assesses emerging threats and incorporates security review/response in requirements/design.
Designs, develops, and implements leading-edge analytical and technical methodologies, tools, and policies/standards to ensure a cyber-secure environment for customer organizations.
Implements security measures including intrusion detection and prevention, software and system security protection through application of secure design protocols and reverse engineering, and data assurance.
Performs network modeling, analysis, planning and may be responsible for researching and recommending network and data communications technologies.
Active top-secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Bachelor Degree required with graduate level education in system engineering work in systems engineering and program management related field of study.
8+ years of experience as a technical lead in DoD engineering programs
12+ years of experiences in leading technical teams
Experience with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) methods
Experience performing the job responsibilities above
12+ years of experience in requirements development, requirements analysis, and requirements testing.
15+ years of experience on DoD-related programs.
5+ years of experience in systems architecture
Experience with DoD System Security and Anti-Tamper (AT) engineering
Experience with developing sensor trade studies
Must currently possess a security clearance
