re you an experienced Security Engineer who would like to join a fast-paced, global growing team? You will build global security capabilities and design new services to support a modern adaptive security architecture! Our initiatives span over 20 globally diverse science and technology operating companies. Whether it’s protecting our digital properties, safeguarding our data, or driving continuous improvements to our security posture, this position plays a pivotal role in delivering security solutions for our operating companies!
You must have deep knowledge across foundational security domains, experience developing new programs and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization. You are well-versed in security hygiene and core technologies in the Discover, Identify, Protect and Detect pillars of the Cybersecurity Framework and how they complement each other.
You will work with the Senior Manager, Security Architecture & Engineering and lead the development and delivery of security solutions throughout their lifecycle, adding new capabilities to our services portfolio and supporting improved security postures for our companies around the world.
Work hands-on in designing, deploying and launching global technical security solutions
Act as a domain professional, mentor and coach for operating company technical security practitioners
Perform education and enablement activities across the broader organization related to security standard methodologies and responsibilities
Continuously identify enhancements to existing security controls and implement action plans to improve security posture
Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent level of education and experience
5+ years of progressive experience in Security Engineering
Hands-on expertise with security technologies in one or more of the following domains: Microsoft Security, Data Protection, Security Analytics or GRC platforms
A proven track record of delivering new security solutions to the business
Ability to communicate effectively to globally diverse teams using written communications, in-person, as well as over voice and video medium
Creative problem-solver, able to utilize fundamental security principles in unfamiliar contexts
Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team
Relevant security certifications such as GSEC, CASP, GCIH, CDPSE, GICSP, GRID, GCWN, GDSA, GDAT, GSNA, GCCC or technology-specific certifications in your domain
Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements
Highly collaborative across matrixed teams and organizational functions
