The IT InfoSec Government Security Solutions (GSS) Team is made up of highly experienced security professionals with skills ranging from solutions architecture and information security to application development and service operations. This cross-functional team is focused on supporting the unique IT information security and compliance requirements for Intel Federal LLC, a subsidiary of Intel, that delivers products and/or services to the US Government (USG). In the GSS Team, each person wears many hats and has multiple areas of expertise.
The Government Security Solutions (GSS) Train is seeking a Scrum Master to help lead our APT teams which support, improve and grow our secure solutions to enhance Intel Federal's data safeguarding and security capabilities.
The Scrum Master supports execution of product vision, coordinates tasks, coaches scrum and agile methods, and removes impediments for the scrum team. We are looking for someone with experience in leadership roles within an agile delivery team, managing multiple teams, and contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Serve as the scrum team's Coach, Mentor, and Facilitator of Agile methodologies and ensure team adherence to best practices, including ownership, self-management and empowerment.
Support execution of product vision by coordinating tasks based on team strengths and weaknesses.
Identify and remove impediments to allow the team to focus on development.
Capture and track sprint metrics (e.g., team velocity), and be accountable for guiding the team in continuous process improvement.
Engage and collaborate with the Product Owner to plan work, mitigate risks, provide frequent updates, and achieve maximum productivity.
Facilitate scrum team's daily work and manage team progress including execution of Sprint Ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review and Retrospective).
Maintain the backlog and release plans, publish reports to ensure the product owner is updated about the team's progress.
Create a collaborative environment that allows the team and clients to interact closely.
Coordinate with Group scrum masters when work is being performed across various scrum teams.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Qualifications listed as preferred or additional will be considered a plus factor for applicants.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Project Management, Computer Science or any other related field; or an equivalent of other work experience/training such as relevant military experience or technical school training
3+ years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry or Government Support
2+ years of professional Scrum Master experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master
2+ years of experience in:
Agile/SAFe methodologies including tools used for work planning and tracking such as; Rally, Jira, etc.
Project Management
