Attackers may be looking for unsecured proxy servers for sending spam. I've found this port scanned in association with the usual proxy ports (8080, 3128, 80, 6588, etc) When they finally hit a web server we get this in the logs: "POST http://64.216.218.201:25/ HTTP/1.1" 405 358 "-" "-" All these packets have a source port of 0. | |
